Fans were blown away in 2022 when Naomi Watts launched Stripes, a beauty and wellness brand focused on menopause health. Since then, the brand has spawned an empire, with people scrambling to get their hands on the company’s products. Now, it’s even easier.
Stripes, which is part of the Flow Collective, is launching on QVC with four products, all of which are designed to help keep you looking and feeling your best during this time in your life.
Watts previously told Today that it was important for her to create something for women going through menopause. “I reject the notion that [menopause] marks the end of one’s life,” she said. “Just because it’s the end of one’s reproductive life doesn’t mean to say you’re invisible or irrelevant.”
The 55-year-old shared that she decided to create Stripes when she started going through perimenopause while trying to get pregnant in her mid-30s. “That’s when I started to hear from my doctor that my hormones were changing at quite a drastic level, and it put me into such a terrible panic,” she said.
Watts said she “started feeling extreme symptoms” after she had her second child, including skin dryness. “I heard about hot flashes, I heard about night sweats but I hadn’t really heard about things like migraines,” she said. “I certainly hadn’t heard about skin issues. I mean, 90 percent of women experience painful sex as well after menopause. And that’s the most taboo subject area.”
So, Stripes was born. Since then, Naomi has been outspoken about menopause and even shared several jokey videos on Instagram about her products:
Vaginal dryness is a huge potential issue during menopause. Vag of Honor is a hormone-free, gel-based hydrator made with Ectoine, hyaluronic acid, and glycogen to soothe and hydrate your vagina. The gel helps to relieve dryness, lowering the risk of itching, burning, and general discomfort down there. It also works to fortify the skin barrier to keep you comfortable. Vag of Honor is hypoallergenic, lab-tested for sensitive skin, and free of hormones.
Stripes The Power Move Hydrating & Plumping Facial Serum
This bestselling face serum uses the brand’s proprietary ingredients, Ectoine and Squalane, with five types of hyaluronic acid and Poria cocos mushroom to hydrate your skin. It also firms and plumps your skin, leading to a smoother appearance. The serum absorbs quickly, too. A clinical trial conducted by the company of 33 women in some stage of menopause found that 100 percent said their skin was immediately moisturized, and 93 percent noticed an increase in skin firmness and all-day hydration. The hormone-free serum has a light scent of iris, blooming beach rose, and sandalwood.
This all-over body oil is designed to help combat skin dryness during menopause. It’s made with a mix of Squalane, acai oil, vitamins C and E, and Kakadu plum, with the goal of pampering your skin and giving you deep hydration to reduce crepiness. Use it after you hop out of the shower for maximum results. The hypoallergenic formula is hormone-free and lab-tested for sensitive skin. A clinical trial conducted by Stripes found that 100 percent said their skin was more hydrated, firm, and elastic after using the serum for four weeks.
This daily moisturizing cream is packed with hydrating ingredients like squalene and Ectoine, along with vitamins B, C, and E. It’s designed to enhance your skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines. The cream is hypoallergenic and free of hormones. A clinical trial conducted by the company found that 100 percent had an improvement in their skin hydration after 15 minutes, and 97 percent had enhanced skin barrier function after just one day of use.
